Q: you can have a complete and unique concept every season. This is impressive. Can you explain the use of unique Chiffon yarn and jump to leisure?


Gaoqiao shield (hereinafter referred to as answer): my goal is to express ideas in my mind with art, of course, the concept is centered around fashion, but sometimes I express myself in different artistic forms.

I try to present my thoughts with a variety of design concepts. I mainly rely on my freshness of some things to decide my design.

Of course, I sometimes like other things. I rely so much on my mind, so it is natural for me to make many different forms of art.



I use art to express ideas.


Q: aren't you worried that your customers will lose because you never give them a clear Undercover brand concept and classic?


A: even though I don't have a very clear brand concept product, consumers actually feel more or less the associated texture and design each quarter, and this is Undercover, but these feelings are not the main reason for Undercover in the world.


Q: as a young designer, you started to influence many young people from your NOWHERE store. What kind of feeling did you have in the early 90s of last century?


A: because I happened to start with Nigo at the same time, I opened shop in such a way that I was unsure of everything, but there is no doubt that I am still happy about it.


Q: what do you think is the difference between culture and 2011 and the early 90s of last century?


A: in the early 90s of the last century, the Internet was not popular. I think people at that time would notice the brand message, which is the age when you have to do your homework to get what you want.

I think young people nowadays lack a sense of desire for products.

We see things, touch them through the eyes, and feel them.

It's an era not affected by network virtualization.


I conquer fashion circles with innovation.


Q: as a Japanese designer, how difficult is it to conquer Paris fashion circles?


A: I have never cared about it. My achievements now come from my love and trust in what I do.

I also know that the surrounding areas are full of risks, such as the risks of capital operation.


Q: how important is Wakubo Rei's help to your career?


A: This is very important to me.

It is indeed a great honor for me to be helped by people whom I respect very much.


Q: the international fashion circle is always looking forward to your next season series. What elements can make your work series so popular with audiences and the media?


A: first of all, if people are always expecting me to publish a new series of works, it is really a great honor for me.

I haven't been in the fashion show for 3 years. Paris is a place where you don't take part in the show. People will forget you. When you can always surprise and create new things, or use humor and black jokes, you can always take a look in the way of Undercover.


Q: how important is the external opinion to you?


A: it's very important, but I only listen to the opinions of people I trust, and I will try to absorb their opinions as much as possible.


Undercover attracts people with moral sense.


Q: who is the customer of Undercover?

Can you describe men and women in Undercover?


A: they are independent and aware of their own, stubborn, stubborn, wayward people, those who love freedom, those who love humor, and those who have a sense of morality are pacifists.

In addition to the above elements, there are also unruly people.


Q: why is your brand so successful?

What elements do you provide to enable customers to accept it?


A: I doubt whether I have really succeeded because I feel that all men are born equal.

Of course, I am a president, I have a hierarchical relationship in the company, but fundamentally speaking, everyone is equal.

I think our guests understand this spirit.


Q: after all these years, do you have fans and fans?


A: very many, I rarely have the opportunity to directly affect consumers, but I think we seem to have been met by fate.


Q: for a brand, Undercover is a rare name.

How did you choose this name?


Answer: because I want to retain some mystery.


Q: what is the main concept behind the Undercover brand 2011 spring summer series?

Why did we use a science fiction scene?


A: in the 70s of last century, I was a child at that time. I was deeply influenced by the superheroes in those TV shows. This is a kind of respect for that period.

They are very different from superheroes and Spiderman heroes. Unlike American heroes, there is a wonderful fight with the wicked. I have added a spirit of good and evil that can eventually be restored.

Such an outcome is even more comfortable, isn't it?

I want to elaborate on this view.

It's not really about fashion, I guess.


Q: have you ever thought of presenting it in a movie way?

I'm looking forward to seeing the Undercover2011 spring summer series in the movie.


A: I'm very interested in movies.

In fact, I thought about filming a Undercover movie, but in the end I decided not to.

Instead, we are planning to shoot a fashion video clip on the way to Paris fashion show.


Tradition is the main axis of my work.


Q: you have very close cooperation with Nike. What works do you have at the Gyakusou conference?


A: as a person who has to do running training every day, I want to design a single item suitable for jogging but not conservative.


Q: How did you become a marathon lover?


A: I started jogging for the sake of good health. I have been increasing the length of jogging for the past two years. Now I run 10 kilometers to 13 kilometers with my two friends every two days.


Q: have you ever been to Greece in the marathon town?

Have you ever known the history of Greece?

Has it aroused your interest? If so, what are its aspects?


A: I have never been to Greece, and I would not say that I am not interested in that country, but at least now I do not have strong desire for it, but I am willing to go there one day.


Q: is there any part of traditional things that interfere with your design and work?


Answer: I believe that tradition is the main axis of my work. I set up a balance point in the depth of design, which sometimes brings it closer and sometimes destroys it.


Q: what are your plans for 2011?


A: a fashion show must record the whole process from preparation period to stage. Finally, I will publish an atlas.

There are too many plans, but I can't tell you now.


Q: apart from being a designer, you are still a photographer, and you have created many interesting candles and dolls in the past. How do you do all these things that are not interrelated?


A: to be honest, it is really hard to carry out many projects at the same time, especially in the case of cooperation with Nike. It has to put a lot of effort into it. But because I chose to participate in it, I have no other choice but to make it come true, not all plans will affect others.


Q: how do you think the fashion industry will develop in the next 5 years?


A: I tried to imagine, but I still couldn't guess.


Q: have you worshipped anyone in fashion history?


Answer: Wakubo Rei, Martin Margiela, Musa, Prada and Ralph Simon.


Q: what is your spiritual world?


Answer: binding and peaceful, but I don't know what it is, ha ha.
