< p > April 17th, from the Institute of hemp research of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the first genetic linkage map of ramie molecular markers was successfully drawn by the scientific research team led by Dr. Liu Touming. The team also completed the quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping of ramie fiber yield related traits.

The above results will be directly applied to the molecular marker assisted selection breeding of ramie, which is of great significance for the future development of ramie industry in China.
